How to tell Opera to use a proxy server

On the menubar click on File and select Preferences. Choose Network from the list of options that appear on the left side of the new dialog box. Now click on the Proxy servers button. Mark the checkbox next to the two HTTP boxes. In the two HTTP boxes at the top enter the desired proxy server name and port number. Close each one of the open dialog boxes by clicking on OK.

Choose Preferences from the File menu In the Preferences dialog box, choose Network and click on the Proxy Servers button Check the box next to HTTP only and enter the proxy name and port number in the two boxes provided.
