How to tell AOL to use a proxy server

Select Setup from the bottom of the Sign On screen that appears on the AOL browser. Choose Expert Setup from the choice of buttons on the bottom of the new dialog box. Now click on the Expert Add button. Mark the Manual Proxy Configuration box and click on the View button. Check the box next to the message Connect using proxy. In the two boxes provided enter the desired proxy server name and port number. Close each one of the open dialog boxes by clicking on OK.
